Product details
The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 9 6" Suspension System with CDEV technology represents the highest level of suspension performance, adjustability, and refinement available for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra. Engineered for enthusiasts who demand the ultimate combination of intelligent damping control, maximum articulation, and premium hardware, this system integrates ICON's most advanced suspension technologies with a complete suite of heavy-duty components designed for exceptional performance on and off the road. Vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series front coilovers and rear shocks with remote reservoirs provide superior damping control, increased fluid capacity, and improved heat dissipation for consistent performance during extended high-load driving. Equipped with ICON's Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology, the system allows in-vehicle adjustment of compression damping settings and active damping control through ICON Intelligent Control (IIC). Utilizing onboard sensors to monitor G-forces, chassis movement, and user-defined settings, IIC continuously analyzes vehicle dynamics and makes near-instantaneous, on-the-fly compression damping adjustments to optimize ride quality, handling response, and overall vehicle control.
The system allows for up to a 40% increase in front wheel travel over stock without overstressing OE components and features adjustable front ride heights from 5-6 inches of lift. Through innovative engineering, the system achieves a full 6 inches of front lift with only 4 inches of crossmember drop, maximizing ground clearance while minimizing CV joint angles. Billet aluminum upper control arms equipped with ICON's patented Delta Joint Pro (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) provide increased strength, exceptional durability, 90 degrees of total articulation, and on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment for precise alignment and optimum drivability. The system maintains factory track width while optimized suspension geometry nearly eliminates the bump steer common to stock Tundras. High-strength one-piece ductile iron steering knuckles, high-clearance CNC laser-cut and brake-formed 1/4-inch steel crossmembers, and an integrated front skid plate provide the strength and protection required for demanding off-road conditions. High-angle greaseable outer tie rods, sway bar drop brackets, heavy-duty front and rear bump stop brackets, improved rear sway bar links and mounts, and a rear track bar bracket work together to maintain proper suspension geometry and reduce bind throughout the suspension's range of motion.
ICON-engineered custom triple-rate rear coil springs provide progressive spring rates for a comfortable ride on the street while delivering the stability and control needed during aggressive off-road driving. The rear suspension is further upgraded with billet upper and high-clearance lower links that improve articulation while allowing on-vehicle adjustment for ride height and pinion angle using ICON's double adjuster system. Replaceable nylon rock sliders protect the billet lower links from trail impacts, while the adjustable billet rear track bar allows precise rear axle centering and improves suspension performance at lifted ride heights. The result is ICON's most complete Tundra suspension system, delivering intelligent damping control, exceptional ride quality, maximum adjustability, and uncompromising off-road capability with the clearance to fit 37-inch tires at full articulation.
