New Product Announcement: ICON Triple Rate rear coil springs for 2021-2024 Ford F-150 Raptor

Posted on:

NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT ICON Triple Rate rear coil springs for 2021-2024 Ford F-150 Raptor provide a modest increase in ground clearance while greatly enhancing on- and off-road performance, especially when used with ICON shocks and suspension components. The triple-rate coil design combines a performance ride rate for compliance and comfort, with an overload rate for load and bottom out resistance, and an extra soft initial rate for maximum droop travel. A unique tapered wire design helps achieve maximum travel and efficiency and an extra-long free height ensures the coils stay seated in their coil buckets for up to 17” of droop travel. In addition, these springs are also designed to net 1" of rear lift on a stock weight Gen3 Raptor for a more aggressive stance and increased fender clearance for larger wheels and tires. "Overland" version (p/n 95231) offers the same lift and performance with an additional constant load of 300 lbs in the rear of the truck to accommodate extra gear. Like all ICON coil springs, these feature a lifetime guarantee against sagging/breakage to provide confidence in knowing that you have the best suspension products available for the 2021-2024 Ford F-150 Raptor. 95230 21-24 F-150 RAPTOR TRIPLE RATE REAR COIL SPRING KIT 95231 21-24 F-150 RAPTOR TRIPLE RATE OVERLAND COIL SPRING KIT KEY FEATURES: Vehicle specific design for the Gen3 F-150 Raptor 95230: 1" rear lift height over stock on Raptors without additional weight in the rear 95231 "Overland" version: 1" rear lift height over stock on Raptors with approximately 300lbs of additional weight in the rear Triple rate rear coil springs with ICON-engineered droop, ride, and overload rates Performance ride rate for compliance and comfort, overload rate for load and bottom out resistance, extra soft initial rate for maximum droop travel Tapered wire design achieves maximum travel and efficiency Tall free height - will not come loose from coil buckets for up to 17” of droop Significantly improves on- and off-road ride quality and performance over stock Dual stage powder coating for maximum corrosion resistance Lifetime guarantee against sagging/breakage TECH NOTES: OEM Wheels & Tires Fitment: Yes Recommended Aftermarket Wheels: ICON Alloys - 17x8.5" w/ 5” Backspace / 6mm Offset Recommended Aftermarket Tires: 37" x 12.50" (depending on bumpstop configuration) APPLICATION NOTE #85: Advertised lift height ranges are for a stock equipped vehicle. New From ICON: 2017 & Up Ford F450/550 Through-Shaft Steering Stabilizer

Posted on:

NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT 2017-24 Ford F450/F550 Centerline Through-Shaft Steering Stabilizer The ICON Centerline Steering Stabilizer features a through-shaft design to eliminate the push/pull sensation associated with traditional steering stabilizers, resulting in more consistent damping and symmetrical steering feel throughout the input range. The large 2.5-inch diameter stabilizer body and piggyback reservoir increases fluid volume to prevent performance fade due to heat and cavitation. This unit provides a significant increase in steering damping compared to the stock equipment, for an improved driving experience with both stock size and oversize aftermarket wheels and tires. The kit also allows for increased steering travel compared to other aftermarket steering stabilizers. The stabilizer body shares components with ICON's proven 2.5 Series shock absorbers, meaning the unit is fully rebuildable. 2.5 Series features a 6061 hard anodized aluminum shock body for excellent corrosion resistance and a beefy 7/8” chrome-plated induction-hardened steel shaft. FK Rod End bearings provide precise function & feel throughout steering range. Installation is 100% bolt-on using common hand tools and should be an easy job for both professional mechanics and experienced DIY'ers. 65054 05-24 FSD 450/550 CENTERLINE STABILIZER KIT KEY FEATURES: Through shaft design eliminates the push/pull sensation associated with traditional stabilizers Provides symmetrical steering feel throughout input range Drastically increased steering damping over stock unit Offers increased wheel travel compared to ICON's dual steering stabilizer kit Fully rebuildable ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series shock Piggyback reservoir design 6061 hard anodized aluminum shock body provides excellent corrosion resistance 7/8” chrome plated induction-hardened steel shaft 5WT shock oil for consistent suspension damping along a wide temperature range FK Rod End bearings for precise function & feel throughout steering range 100% bolt-on installation TECH NOTES: TECH NOTE: After installation, cycle steering left and right to ensure full range of steering is achievable and stabilizer is installed correctly TECH NOTE: Use ICON 1” front bump stop spacers, part # 61112 (included with kit), unless the suspension system that you are using calls for larger bump stop spacers. If using a non-ICON configuration, cycle the suspension to verify that the stabilizer does not make contact upon full compression. TECH NOTE: Mounts over stock front differential cover, not compatible with most aftermarket covers.
